The Todd Veinotte Show (Episode 179)

July 23, 2017

The show begins with a discussion about the contradicting optics that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gives when he participates in a Pride parade and then demonstrates his support and understanding of the Muslim community, who in turn, are against such behaviour. Todd continues on the subject matter by reacting to the transfer of a transgendered inmate to a women’s correctional facility. He also talks about the resignation of U.S. White House press secretary Sean Spicer. And ends the segment by giving his thoughts on the language-related complaint against Fredericton police and how it was reported by the CBC.

Communications consultant and political commentator Gerry Nicholls joins us to talk about his July 17, 2017 Toronto Sun column “Trudeau, the media and the kumquat principle”.
